Why Shinrai Exists
The problem is not preparation. It is translation.
After 25 years of project execution, service delivery, strategy, portfolio management, and process improvement, I realized organizations did not lack the information to complex delivery problems. They lacked the ability to interpret and communicate in a language that aligns strategic execution to enterprise performance.
Leo Bernard Jr.
Founder, Shinrai
From executive frustration to a new execution mandate.
For years, I entered executive meetings convinced I was fully prepared. I brought the project plan, Gantt chart, RAID log, milestone status, risks, dependencies, and every detail I believed leadership might need—only to hear, “We need more information before we can make a decision,” or see the blank stare that meant the information had not connected.
Eventually, I understood why. Delivery teams communicate through scope, schedule, risk, resources, execution mechanics. Executives make decisions through revenue, performance, exposure, timing, and strategic consequence. Neither language is wrong. The problem is that organizations rarely have a reliable way to translate one into the other.
I spent years evaluating PPM and SPM platforms as the solution to this translation problem. They moved the needle when it came to planning and portfolio visibility for sure, but far too often these premiere SaaS solutions revert to fancy dashboards and data reports rather than providing what companies truly need; continuous execution traceability from project portfolios, through strategy with clear financial impact to enterprise performance so executives can make the critical decisions necessary to adapt to operational or market conditions nimbly.
That mission became Shinrai.
Designed by leaders who have lived the problem—for leaders who must solve it.
Shinrai was created by leaders who have spent decades navigating the gap between enterprise strategy, project execution, and performance accountability.
